Yes, the yarn looks like frosting or Funfetti cookies! or sprinkles on frosting! Delicious. The fact that you are not obligated to gift it, gives you lots of options. Have your cake and frosting too ;)

9 times out of 10 I make it for myself. I love that color, the frosting idea seems appropriate for sure.
I always have that problem when I knit cowls - but, fortunately, they don't take that much time to knit, and I can make two! Love that colorway!
